Megan Feeney is the Research and Data Manager for Advance Native Political Leadership. She builds datasets on Native candidates and officeholders across the country and leads other research efforts to support Advance’s programs.
Previously, Megan was a staff writer for Ballotpedia, the digital encyclopedia of American politics and elections. She’s interested in using civic technology to fight for equity in democratic participation, for both voters and candidates.
Megan has a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Rutgers University and an A.B. in Philosophy from Lafayette College. Her dissertation research focused on issues in contemporary epistemology, but these days she is reading ethics and political philosophy.
Megan lives in Washington, D.C., and aspires to visit every museum in the district. Outside work, she enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, and reading poetry. Her favorite poet is Pablo Neruda.
