Em Harring (Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians) is the Development Manager for Advance Native Political Leadership. They support the organization’s development operations and goals.
They have more than a decade’s experience as an editor, writing consultant, and teacher, and received a Master of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining Advance, she worked in Advancement at Milkweed Editions, an independent publisher of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.
They are a member of the Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and currently reside in Minneapolis. Outside of work, she can be found tending to her growing houseplant collection, walking around lakes, thrifting for haunted antiques, writing, and reading far too many books.
