Megan Feeney is the Research and Data Manager for Advance Native Political Leadership. She builds datasets on Indigenous candidates, tracks the parity gap for Indigenous officeholders, organizes Advance’s endorsement process, and leads other research efforts to support Advance’s programs.
Previously, Megan was a staff writer for Ballotpedia, the digital encyclopedia of American politics. In that role, she collected and analyzed data on state and local elections, and helped tens of thousands of people access quality information on how to vote.
Megan earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Rutgers University in 2019. She lives in Washington, D.C., and aspires to visit every museum in the district. Outside work, she enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, and reading poetry and philosophy.
