Lexy Locklear

Lexy Locklear (Lumbee) is the National Program Associate for Advance Native Political Leadership. She provides administrative and operations support for the Native Leadership Institute and growing national and state-based networks of elected and appointed leaders. Lexy has prior experience planning programs for state elected and appointed officials as well as community organizing and engagement. With a background in advocacy and direct services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, Lexy is dedicated to improving outcomes for Indigenous youth and people. Outside of work, she can be found reading a book, hanging out with her dog, or spending time outdoors.
