North Dakota

North Dakota has four federally recognized tribes. According to 2020 U.S. Census data, Indigenous peoples represent 7.5% of the total population of North Dakota. In order to achieve parity in political representation, we need to elect 1,155 Native leaders to office at all levels across the state.

This is a work in progress, as Native peoples are often left out of demographic data and research. If you are a Native elected or appointed official, please fill out this form so that we can make sure you are included in our data.
